If you identify as Queer and/or BI/POC, navigating grief, guilt, shame, or just everyday challenges within cultural and familial dynamics can feel like an uphill journey. But you don't have to climb that mountain by yourself. I'm here to offer a space that is free of judgment where we can process identity, explore attachment and trauma experiences, focus on emotions, and uncover patterns rooted in childhood.
Working through the lens of liberation, attachment, emotion-focused, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, I support clients with navigating complex issues including assimilation, religious/cultural identity (being neither here nor there), or attachment-based childhood trauma and familial or cultural expectations (including around gender and sexuality).
In our space, all parts of you - the anxious part, the shame part, the inner child - are welcomed as they are. Together, we will connect with, be curious about, and get to know these parts with kindness and care. If you’d like to learn more about how we can work together, please reach today!

I work primarily with people of color, queer and trans folks coping with anxiety, depression, life transitions and relationship issues. I aim to help you tune into how you're truly feeling, while centering radical self-compassion. Healing and liberation come in many different forms and we will work collaboratively to understand your individual goals and needs. Ours will be an open space, free of judgment, to explore thoughts and feelings you may not otherwise have a place to address. One of the first steps toward healing is being seen and heard authentically and in our work together we will begin there.
Many of the things about ourselves that we struggle with are also our greatest assets. Therapy can be a place to understand how to amplify our strengths and also identify areas where long-term patterns of thought and behavior are no longer serving us.
If you are seeking extra support through difficulties you are facing, have the desire to break out of patterns that you have outgrown, or looking for a collaborator in working towards growth, I look forward to being a part of your journey. I will both support and challenge you along the way.

Growing up as an Indian American from a big immigrant family, my experiences have led me to understand and empathize with the difficulties of balancing a diverse set of identities, both cultural and otherwise. Navigating these challenges has deepened my insight into the mental health struggles faced by many BI/POC individuals on a daily basis.
I understand the stigma that exists within many BI/POC cultures when it comes to seeking mental health care and the taboo around simply discussing it. As such, I also recognize the immense courage that comes with breaking barriers and prioritizing your mental health.
If you are looking to work through matters such as anxiety, guilt, family dynamics, and beyond, I am here to provide a therapeutic space where you can feel safe, seen, heard, and respected. Cultivating joy in troubling times may seem tough, but is not impossible. If any of this resonates with you, I would be honored to be a part of your journey.

Fighting life’s many challenges can feel like a never ending battle, especially when feelings of hopelessness and frustration take over. Perhaps you’re feeling stuck, or misunderstood or maybe you just want someone to talk to who listens and understands. You’re probably sick and tired of having to be “strong” all the time, and it’s left you feeling drained. You deserve to be heard—to be validated—to be seen.
In therapy, I will provide empathy, unconditional support and guidance to help you reach your goals. I utilize integrative psychotherapy to help you break old patterns, and to understand yourself in transformative ways. I have experience supporting clients of various backgrounds struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma as well as life transitions and relationship issues.
I am invested in working with black and brown populations, especially young professionals and women of color. This stems from my own experiences as a black woman of both Jamaican and Puerto Rican descent. I aim to help individuals achieve empowerment, resiliency and a more fulfilling and balanced life. Call me today and it'll be my honor to take that journey with you.

I'm here to support anyone seeking a safe and confidential space to work through their struggles. We can start by discussing what safety means to you, and then explore the steps we need to take to empower you to move forward. It is my priority that you feel comfortable being your authentic self. In our sessions, we will take a holistic approach, by supporting you in forming a deeper understanding of your identities and your environment. Your trauma is not your fault. Our sessions will be an opportunity for you to gain a greater sense of self and practice regaining control of your life.
I have 7 years of experience working with survivors of violence, in particular domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking. My specialities also include working with immigrants, people of color, and adolescents. Ultimately, I believe that the key to our success is through trust and compassion.

If you're looking for a space to process your identity, navigate relationship dynamics, or manage the unique challenges of being part of a diverse cultural background, I can help.
As a first-generation Indian-American with Bengali roots, I deeply understand the complexities and nuances of balancing multiple cultural identities. My goal is to provide a compassionate and empathetic environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. Together, we’ll work on building resilience, navigating life’s challenges, and fostering meaningful connections.
I specialize in trauma-focused and informed care, helping individuals, couples, and families manage anxiety, stress, and life changes. My approach is holistic and personalized, integrating CBT, DBT, and relational therapy through a cultural lens. In our sessions, you will find a genuine, interactive partner who uses a relational approach and humor.
In our sessions, we will prioritize transparency, have space for feedback, and emphasize partnership throughout the therapeutic process, making the change feel exciting while holding space for the fears, worries, and setbacks that come with it. If it sounds like the right match for you, let's connect!
