Frequently Asked Questions

  • Saya Psychotherapy is currently an out-of-network provider but working towards paneling insurances.

    As an out of network provider, we do not accept insurance at this time. However we do provide clients with invoices and super bills that they can submit directly to their insurance company to receive approximately 50-90% reimbursement of session costs.

    Please use our insurance page to check your out-of-network benefits.

    Here are some questions we recommend you ask your insurance provider if you are looking to use out-of-network benefits:

    • Does my plan have out-of-network benefits for behavioral mental health?

    • Do I have a deductible? If yes, what is the total amount and how much of it has already been met?

    • Are there limits on the amount of sessions my plan covers for mental health?

    • How much will I be reimbursed when I see an out-of-network mental health provider for the CPT code 90834?

    •How do I submit billing so I can be reimbursed for my psychotherapy sessions?

  • Fees are listed on our "team" page under each clinician.

    Limited sliding scale fees are also available dependent on need and income. if you are seeking sliding scale, please include your budget and discuss this during your consultation.

  • If you are unable to keep an appointment, we require 24 hours advance notice. If your appointment is not cancelled within this timeframe, you will be charged the full session fee for the canceled or missed appointment. Thank you for respecting our time and valuing the time that has been set aside for you.

  • Therapy sessions typically last around 45-50 minutes and occur on a weekly basis. During your sessions, you can expect a compassionate and caring environment where you can openly discuss your concerns, thoughts, and emotions. Your therapist will actively listen, offer support, and work collaboratively with you to explore your challenges, set goals, and develop insight and strategies for positive change.

  • All of our services at this time are conducted primarily via tele-health services utilizing a HIPAA compliant platform.
